Motivation for award: Gooderson Dumazulu Lodge & Traditional Village is one of a very few venues in the Hluhluwe area that offers an authentic Zulu Experience coupled with superior accommodation and good food. Our focus is on educating our guests through the cultural village tour on the region, it’s people & their history in KZN whilst offering accommodation.

This stunning game lodge located in Hluhluwe consists of 31 ethnic huts with modern comfortable interior and furnishings that reflect the warmth of Africa. These beautiful rondavels are arranged in a circle around a central kraal to resemble a traditional Zulu village.
Exterior wall paintings are designed to reflect the different tribes of Southern Africa; Zulu, Swazi, North Sotho, Venda, Xhosa among others.
