Motivation for award: DUrbanTV has continuously provided local tourism venues the opportunity to promote themselves to a regional, national and international audience throughout the covid pandemic to assist them and ensure their survival. Alongside Durban Tourism we produced the campaign “Know Your Durban” to encourage Durbanites to Go Local. This campaign along with other DUrbanTV productions were also provided to our TVBrics partners, Russia TV & BrazilTV channels creating a viewership of 40 million. In 2022 DUrbanTV will strive to create even more programming which will positively promote SA’s tourism and culture through our “My kind of Africa” campaign.
