Stunning unspoiled Nature Reserve. Beautiful campingsite next to the vlei. Excellent facilities: restaurant,swimming pool. …Beautiful hiking trails, mountain bike trails, lots of animals (zebra, eland, bontebok…) , huge white sand dunes… We love it there. It was our 4th time at The Hoop (2 times we stayed in one of the lovely cottages, once we were day visitors and now we had our first camping experience there. We will certainly return. ❤️❤️❤️

Everyone should visit De Hoop it is the jewel of the Overberg. Locals don’t even know it exists. It’s everything and more than you expect it to be. Spotting the flamingoes and vultures is truly spectacular.
