With camps located along the country’s most popular tourist routes, our custom-designed boutique glamping tents allow guests to experience the closeness to nature that comes with a camping trip and the convenience of a fully equipped self-catering unit. Our tents are fully furnished with everything you need for a comfortable stay – from the fully equipped kitchens to the spacious showers. Guests can experience the freedom and beauty of the great outdoors, without compromising on the comforts they love. Our tents and properties are suitable for close friends, couples, and families.

AfriCamps at Doolhof, Wellington

Glamping in the Cape Winelands

AfriCamps at Doolhof is located within the award-winning Doolhof Wine Estate, a short drive from the picturesque town of Wellington and only 50 minutes from Cape Town. Here, six self-catering boutique glamping tents, each with a private outdoor wood-fired hot tub, are surrounded by vineyards, mountain views, and the peaceful Kromme River that makes its way through the farm.

Our custom-made tents are fully furnished and equipped with a private kitchen, lounge, en-suite bathroom (with private shower and toilet), two bedrooms sleeping up to five guests in two extra-length queen-size beds, and an extra single bunk bed, an indoor fireplace, air-conditioning, and a wooden deck. There is an outdoor wood-fired hot tub next to each tent that is the perfect place to listen to the birdsongs or relax under the stars at night.
