Motivation for award: For me ANCHEN LOOTS ID 4006280067086 just a privilege to be able to stilL at the age of 81 make a difference in the tourism and accommodation industry of South Africa. Still to be able to make it special for my guests and to strive on our motto “PEACE, JOY AND LOVE” FOR ME TO SPOIL MY GUESTS AND TO MAKE IT SPECIAL FOR ALL CUSTOMERS IS JUST MY LIFE!!! and that is why 24 HOUTBOSCH BAY BOKMAKIERIE honeymoon suite with jacuzzi is different to any other accommodation in SOUTH AFRICA.

At our owner-managed suite our personal touch is an integral part or our service. We pride ourselves in taking extra-special care of our guests and their needs and make their visit unforgettable even if it is just a visit to the beach.

This exquisite, romantic honeymoon suite with jacuzzi (private hot tub) situated on the beach and on the edge of a nature reserve offers you the best of beach holiday,
combined with the tranquillity of nature.
Being located very centrally- just over an hour from Port Elizabeth airport, and only 5km from the surfing town Jeffreys Bay- allows you to explore all the surrounding areas along the Garden Route including Plettenberg Bay, Baviaanskloof and Addo Elephant Park , home of the big 7
From your balcony you can view the HOUTBOSCHBAY BIRD RESTAURANT with birds and wild life tumbling in to feast on bird food.

The Exquisite, spacious 120m2 open plan suite with panoramic sea views, a Jet Master Braai and fully equipped for self catering. Fridge/deep freeze, 2 plate stove, convection oven, microwave, crockery to match the sea theme, glasses and mugs to pick and choose from for your cold champagne in fridge on arrival. (breakfast and coffee nook) Wi-Fi, DSTV and flat screen TV, queen size bed overlooking the beach. Bedding ,towels and toiletries are provided. You can enjoy the sunrise from your bed every morning a different picture.

The Romantic Honeymoon suite tinted in blue to accentuate romance is not only for honeymooners, but made special for every occasion- birth days, anniversaries, engagements or even just a peaceful rest at the beach or in the nature reserve.

I started feeding birds and created our own HOUTBOSCHBAY BIRD RESTAURANT It is wonderful to see-the blue duiker and grey buck (both very rare species in South Africa) the water and grey mongoose, the large spotted genet, the porcupine and lots of birds 113 species identified already in a radius of 200m all come to feast on bird food. Houtbosch bay Bokmakierie is a safe place only 100m from the Indian ocean, with wide, silvery beach on our doorstep. Here we can swim, fish, walk, pick up shells and surf—just 100m from the honeymoon suite.

Houtboschbaai honeymoon suite is heaven on earth. The most tranquil atmosphere. The suite is neat, ckean and well equip and direct access to the beach, cannot ask for more. Anchen makes sure that her guests iarewell settled in and goes the extra mile for her guests. She’s in touch with her guests needs. Interesting and excellent place with a stunning view. And don’t be surprised if some animals come and visit. Beautiful braai area under indigenous flora. Accommodation is luxurious and you can relax in a jacuzzi after a day out before enjoying a sundowner on the patio overlooking the Indian Ocean. Situated in Jeffreys Bay known for good surfing and fishing. Part of the world famous Garden Route with so much to experience and enjoy. You will put it on your favourite place to visit list.

Perfect romantic getaway. The accommodation has all that one needs and more to spoil that special love one. The setting with a wide sweeping view of the ocean makes for a really peaceful paradise. And of course there is a jucuzzi in the room. What’s not to love. And Anchen is hospitable and so friendly. She went beyond to cater for our needs and made our stay extra special Asieff and Tamaryn Khan

Tannie Anchen and her late husband has created a very special and unique place called Bokmakmakierie honeymoon suite and jacuzzi. Coupled with that is her customer centricity that sees her going way beyond the call of duty to take care of her guests. We are currently enjoying our 6th visit right now, so very highly recommended!
